Palanga is the most popular and picturesque Lithuanian resort. It is a climatic and balneotherapeutic health resort located at the coast of the Baltic Sea. In another, northern part of the town, on the way to Šventoji, nestled in the shadows of the seaside pine wood one of the most cutting-edge national rehabilitation centers is situated – “Palangos linas.” “Palangos linas” was established in 1978. Since 1985 it is a specialized multifield medical institution offering rehabilitation and recreation services both to Lithuanian citizens and residents of other countries.
